Session 1

Our writer-director Anna Clart, and designer Laura Cordery led the groups in character and story exploration through games and object handling. We learnt about what kinds of stories the groups enjoyed. The creatives then worked responsively to develop the following art and music sessions.

We then had a mixed media postcard making session exploring familiar and unfamiliar places, looking at home and travel. We worked repsonsively, as these themes came out of the motifs and themesa appearing in session 1. The activity was a great conversation starter to spend time story sharing between visiting creatives and the group participants.

Session 3

In our final development session we brought an actor musician with multiple instruments, pairing music exploration and sound effect to support communication and mood in storytelling. We red sections from stories and created soundscapes for them.
